Got a call from the cousin around 4 plus last Saturday asking if I wanna go out and 2 hours later, I was on my way to meeting him already. Haaa.
It had to be last Saturday if not, God-knows-when I'll be seeing him. He's super busy lahhh. I had to meet him cause it's gonna be his birthday tomorrow and I HAD to treat him to dinner. That's my way of "buying" him a present. Hahaha.
I remembered walking with my feet hurting all the way from The Cathay to Bugis for dinner. He wanted to bring me to this Italian place but guess what, he forgot where it is. So we had to ditch that idea and settle for Sketches instead. It's our first time there and that place was actually not bad at all. The cod fillet was yummy and the aglio olio was ok lahhh. Super lots of mushrooms in it though.
Before that dinner, Daniel was saying that we go for dessert at Ministry Of Food. But by the time we finished our meal, we were too full to move liao, how to find space for dessert somemore sia.
We thought of catching a movie in town initially but that plan is dropped as the seats left were really limited. And of course, our opportunity cost would be to watch it at Jurong Point. The cousin die die wanna catch The Happening cause apparently he's a fan of M. Night Shyamalan's works. And I tell you people ahhh, The Happening is SOOO not happening. The ending is the beginning ok. It was SOOO disturbing, SOOO stupid and SOOO wtf. You guys better don't waste ya money in catching this show alright. M Night is getting worse with his films man.
And since we felt so disturbed by the show, we decided to catch another one to make ourselves feel better. The Incredible Hulk. That's the ONE I wanted to watch. But my cousin just had to do stunt. Never mind about that. Anyway, it's directly after The Happening and we managed to grab a pair of tickets. We didn't even have time to catch a breath lahhh k. No la, just kidding. We bought Mac in and enjoyed the movie. Now, that's what I call MONEY NOT WASTED and the main thing is, we really felt a lot better after watching this compared to the previous one.
