I've officially entered into the working society for two weeks already and life had been quite dead since. Waking up at 6.40am, brushing my teeth, showering, dressing up, make-up, leaving for work and squeezing madly with people in the train is my everyday routine.
I swear I can be such an auntie at times. Why? Cause I unleashed my typical Singaporean skills and "fight" with people for a standing spot in the MRT. I can be super kiasu till you guys will be super surprised by me you know. It's actually quite scary to see all of us being sandwiched like mad. Even the bread in my bag is flat by the time I reached office.
I often feel sleepy after lunch nowadays and I need my dose of coffee almost everyday. I just tried this mocha latte at this stall located at Golden Shoe which my colleague told me about and it was not bad. 3 bucks. Cheap cheap indeed. Shall frequent there regularly for other flavours.
Work is boring and I want my pay lahhh.

I finally got myself a job at OCBC centre and I'm starting work this coming Wednesday! To be specific, it's Contract Polytechnic Trainee Bank Officer, EmB Risk, Group Risk Management Division. I'm actually on a 6 months contract basis. Renewable of course, even though I don't know why it is a contract. Let's treat it as a 6 months probation period then. I was offered the job that very day when I went for the interview last Friday cause I told them I had to know the result asap as I had to get back to my agency.
Adecco, the agency that I applied through, was really efficient by the way. Like today I applied, then next day they called me liao. I'm really thankful for the help they gave me and for arranging the interviews for me even though the locations suck.
Imagine going to Tuas for 2 consecutive days. Somemore it's 8 interviews altogether. 4 interviews each day. Madness. Wednesday was the first day that I went and the first 3 interviews were all at Tuas. The last one was in Toa Payoh. And then same thing for the next day as well. 2 at Tuas, followed by 1 at Chinatown and the other at Toa Payoh on Thursday.
Luckily I had to attend one interview on Friday only and that was OCBC Bank. I cancelled my 2nd one as I've already gotten the job. People, be happy for me alright despite the fact that the pay is low and it's only for 6 months.
The rest of the interviews that I've been to offered me low pay as well. Got a couple of them offered me $1400 only. Like wtf?! I might as well go back to my attachment company right? I'm a diploma holder for christ's sake. Desmond even told me this "Please reject them and point them a middle finger." Hahaha. But I can assure you, my OCBC's pay is definitely higher than that. In reality though, I really cannot hiam anymore, if not, I'll be jobless forever. Like what my friends and family told me, just accept the job first, it's better than nothing right?

Finally met up with the NS man and Nurul dear yesterday after a month's time and we caught not only 1 but 2 movies! Get Smart and Hancock respectively.
The former 1 was SUPER HILARIOUS can. Me, Nurul and Azhar were laughing like mad and uncontrollably in the theater and you know what, we were seated at the first row so we can also stretch our legs like nobody's business. That's the only good thing about first row I guess. Also, the best part was that when nobody laughed, we laughed. Out of a hundred of people seated inside, only the 3 of us laughed. Somemore like non-stop can. Ok lah, the one seated beside me also laughed. I think the rest can't stand us loh. They must be thinking "First row so happening one ahh? Ma chiam siao eh lohh!". HAHAHA!
I love watching comedies with the both of them cause they can definitely tickle my funny bone. Even when the show is not funny. Especially Nurul lahh. The way she laugh ahh, oh my god. Will kanna abuse by her one lehh. I gotta say this is one of the funniest show I ever watched with them. Cause we were LOL-ing BIG TIME!
Alright, come second one, Hancock wasn't really as great as I thought it would be. It was short and spanned over 90 mins only. But still, it was not bad lahh. Maybe like what Azhar said, they could have touched more on their origin.
Hanged out at Starbucks after the movie before heading home around 12.
